The Kiloview RE-3 is a dual-channel 4K encoding card specifically designed for installation in a rackmount chassis. The encoder features both SDI and HDMI inputs, supporting resolutions up to 4Kp30 and 1080p60. It enables the use of various streaming protocols, including NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, and RTP/RTSP, allowing simultaneous transmission to up to eight live streaming destinations. Notably, it allows the mix of both video inputs as a single output stream or simultaneous encoding of both video inputs in 1080p. Recording can be done locally or via NAS. The HDMI input supports 4-channel embedded audio, while the 3G-SDI input supports 8-channel embedded audio. Thanks to the H.265/H.264 codec, the Kiloview RE-3 offers efficient video encoding with high quality. It features high-quality video deinterlacing to enhance picture quality and supports various audio encoding formats such as AAC, MPEG-4, MPEG-3, MPEG-2, Opus, and G.711. Its low latency for recording and encoding makes it ideal for real-time applications. Additionally, the Kiloview RE-3 offers an integrated KiloLink server for efficient network management and the Kiloview Intercom System (KIS) for communication solutions.
