Haivision's Makito X Dual SDI Encoder Appliance H.264/AVC encoder securely and reliably transports low-latency HD-quality video over any network at extremely low bit rates, making it ideal for live and interactive applications, as well as applications with limited bandwidth. It has two 3G-SDI inputs and a network output that can use the SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) protocol to transmit the encoded signals. SRT is an open source video transport protocol that optimizes video streaming performance in networks. With secure streams and simplified firewall traversal, SRT delivers the highest quality video over the worst networks. The encoder is housed in a fanless 1RU chassis.
