The Lynx greenMachine HDR STATIC Constellation License (No Hardware) provides broadcast-quality conversion from HDR to SDR, SDR to HDR, and cross-standard HDR-to-HDR conversion with frame synchronization and up/down/cross converters supporting formats up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160). The HDR STATIC constellation uses static tone mapping, applying color and contrast parameters evenly across an entire content piece, based on an average brightness and color range. This license is used on the greenMachine Titan 4-channel hardware platform, enabling the processing of either a single 12G 4K UHD channel or four independent SDI channels up to 1080p 3Gbit/s. The HDR STATIC constellation ensures reliable compatibility with legacy SDR displays and offers conversions between common input and output curves such as Gamma, PQ, HLG, and slog3, as well as between color standards like Rec. 601, Rec. 709, and Rec. 2020. Additionally, HDR content can be displayed on non-HDR-capable monitors using contrast compression, delivering high-quality HDR-enhanced images for all display types. The tool also supports custom LUTs (up to 20) for precise adjustments to contrast, color, saturation, and black/white levels. Additional features include up/down/cross conversion, audio processing, color correction, timing adjustment, metadata processing, and the Nova controller for remote control and monitoring. With the CustomControl feature, users can create custom control panels for direct access to selected parameters.
