The AJA OG-UDC is an openGear 10-bit up/down/cross converter of broadcast quality that enables conversions between HD and SD video resolutions. It features a 3G-SDI input and output, an HDMI output, and two 3-pin terminal blocks for analog audio outputs. The DashBoard software, supported on Windows®, macOS®, and Linux®, allows remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture, offering convenient configuration, monitoring, and control options via PC or a local network. The OG-UDC reliably converts between SD, HD, and 3G-HD formats and supports 1080p50/60. Control is managed through the DashBoard network control software and an external DIP switch. Additional features include a 16-channel embedded SDI audio input and output, a reference input, and compatibility with 2RU openGear frames, including AJA's OG-3-FR frame.
