The use of multiple high-quality PCIe cards allows for versatile applications, supported by a 40 Gbps Thunderbolt system speed and two Thunderbolt 3 ports for computer connection and daisy-chaining peripherals. The SE-IIIe features a quiet, temperature-controlled fan, energy-saving mode, automatic power on/off with the computer, and delivers up to 15W of power for connected peripherals via the daisy-chain port.
