The Sonnet Echo Express SE-IIIe is a desktop Thunderbolt-to-PCIe expansion system with 3 slots for PCIe cards, compatible with computers equipped with Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3 ports. Using a single Thunderbolt cable, up to three professional PCIe cards can be used simultaneously. With its three x8 slots, the SE-IIIe supports PCIe 4.0, PCIe 3.0, PCIe 2.0, and PCIe 1.1 cards up to 7.75 inches in length. The use of multiple high-quality PCIe cards allows for versatile applications, supported by a 40 Gbps Thunderbolt system speed and two Thunderbolt 3 ports for computer connection and daisy-chaining peripherals. The SE-IIIe features a quiet, temperature-controlled fan, energy-saving mode, automatic power on/off with the computer, and delivers up to 15W of power for connected peripherals via the daisy-chain port. The robust aluminum enclosure ensures durability and protection. Compatibility includes Apple M1, M2, M1 Pro, M1 Max, and M1 Ultra Macs, Intel Macs with Thunderbolt 3 and 2 ports, Windows 10 computers with Thunderbolt 3 ports, and Linux computers with Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 3 ports.
