The PROMISE Pegasus R12 is a 12-Bay Tower offering high performance in an elegant and compact design. Utilizing Thunderbolt™ 4 technology, it achieves transfer speeds of up to 40 GB/s and is equipped with the renowned PromiseRAID Engine. The R12 features two Thunderbolt™ 4 (Type-C) ports, supporting both current and previous generations of Mac and Windows systems. The new desktop design with 12 bays accommodates up to 240 TB (20 TB x 12 3.5-inch enterprise nearline drives) in a compact space. The PROMISE-designed enclosure allows for quick and easy drive swapping and operates with minimal noise thanks to intelligent fan control. The Pegasus R12 is easily transportable from studio to studio and automatically activates for energy saving and noise reduction. PromiseRAID, known for its stability and performance, ensures reliable monitoring and fault prevention through predictive data migration (PDM). The integrated GreenBoost technology allows efficient energy management by automatically switching the Pegasus R12 to energy-saving mode when the host computer goes to sleep or disconnects. This variant includes six 12 TB SATA HDDs, providing a total storage capacity of 72 TB.
