The Tektronix ECO8000 Automatic Changeover Basic Unit is a versatile automatic sync and signal changeover unit with configurations and capabilities required for modern master sync applications and other advanced sync timing applications. This unit supports optional high-frequency inputs for HD/SD-SDI and/or 3G-SDI signal environments and can be combined with optional signal generators such as the Tektronix Master Sync / Master Clock Reference Generator (Model # SPG8000) for broadcast applications or the Tektronix Test Signal Generator (Model # TG8000) for post-production applications to form a complete sync generator system. With 9 switchable BNC channels, dual hot-swappable power supplies, and a user-friendly web-based interface, the ECO8000 is easy to manage and provides high reliability for timing and synchronization in broadcast, studio, mobile, and post-production facilities. The base configuration includes three 50 MHz Electronic Fast Switch channels with the option to add six more 50 MHz Electronic Fast Switch or 3 GHz Relay Switch channels, as well as four optional LTC channels. If needed, two ECO8000 units can collaborate to double the number of available channels.
