The Allegro USB-C 4-Port PCIe is a PCI Express card with two 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 controllers and four USB-C ports. The card is installed in a Mac, Windows PC, Linux PC or Thunderbolt expansion system and enables the operation of up to four devices with up to 7.5 W each. Transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps via USB-C and up to 40 Gbps via Thunderbolt 3 are achieved (devices that only have Thunderbolt 3 and not USB are not supported). Compared to other USB PCIe cards, the Allegro USB-C 4-Port PCIe works without additional auxiliary power.
