This read / write device enables the use of Codex Compact Drives on a Mac or Windows PC. It is equipped with Thunderbolt 3 and can thus transfer at up to 20 Gbit/s. Mac users have the option to install the free Codex Device Manager software, which enables the use of on-the-fly High Density Encoding (HDE) of ARRIRAW footage.
