The Kupo CT-40MKB C-Stand w/ Turtle Base is a robust and flexible tool designed for the film industry, commonly known as Century Stands or "C" Stands. Made from powder-coated steel, it features 2 risers and 3 sections (diameter 35 mm, 30 mm, 25 mm), providing a height range from 134 cm to 259 cm and supporting up to 10 kg while weighing 7.5 kg itself. The C-Stand is used independently or in conjunction with a Grip Head and Grip Arm to mount lighting equipment and various light shaping tools. A standout feature of the Kupo Master C-Stand is its Turtle Base with a quick release mechanism that allows the legs to be opened and closed in less than two seconds. The patented spring ring locking system reduces tension in the legs, enabling gravity to do the work. The removable base facilitates transport, while the remaining Junior 1-1/8’’ (28 mm) receiver allows the use of Junior studs or accessories when the main riser section is removed.
