The Aputure STORM 1200x is the first light in the new STORM family, offering a powerful 1200 W dual-color point light source with the groundbreaking BLAIR LED chipset, a ProLock safety Bowens mount, and advanced dimming technology. The STORM 1200x delivers exceptional brightness and color accuracy with 24000 Lux at 3 m and 5600 K, supported by the Hyper-Reflector. The innovative BLAIR chipset, which includes an indigo diode, enhances the colors of fluorescent materials, providing accurate illumination that matches daylight and tungsten sources. The fixture offers a CCT range of 2500 K to 10000 K and advanced white-point control with green-magenta color correction (± G 100 % ASC MITC range), essential for professional color accuracy on set. With advanced dimming technology, the STORM 1200x ensures flicker-free, color-accurate operation at any brightness setting from < 50 Lux at 1 m (5600 K) and allows for stepless brightness control from 0.1 - 100 %. The newly designed ProLock Bowens mount supports standard Bowens modifiers and allows for easy attachment of heavy modifiers without additional adjustments.
