The Sony SEL ZEISS Vario-Tessar® T* E 16-70 / 4.0 ZA OSS is a zoom lens for E-Mount, offering versatile applications with a focal length of 16 to 70mm and a constant aperture of F4.0. Equipped with an optical image stabilizer (Steady Shot), it enables sharp shots. The successful Carl Zeiss® T* anti-reflective coating reduces light reflections and ghosting for clear image quality. Thanks to the Advanced Aspherical (AA) lens, the lens is compact yet offers optimized image quality. The circular aperture with 7 blades creates a natural, soft bokeh, while the integrated focusing mechanism allows for fast autofocus responses and a short minimum focusing distance. The filter thread on the front of the lens remains stationary, facilitating the use of polarizing filters.
