The system starts with an ARCA base plate and riser, which ensure proper optical height and allow for accessory mounting in traditional cinema workflows. The integrated ARCA system enables quick transitions between Steadicam, shoulder, or tripod setups. Two 12-inch, 15mm rods and a safety dovetail round out the foundation of the setup. The NATO side rail provides additional mounting options on the operator's side by connecting the top and riser plates, creating a robust, secure design that wraps around the camera. The Elite system is completed with a two-piece top plate, secured with a single ¼”-20 screw and the hot shoe mount on the top of the camera. The backplate is removable if the hot shoe is needed. The system also includes an Ultra Handle, providing a secure grip and additional mounting points for accessories. The heart of the Elite system's power supply is the Pro V-Mount battery solution, providing external power to the Canon EOS C80. The battery plate features three D-Tap ports for accessories, including a digital fuse that cuts accessory power while leaving the camera powered. The battery plate can be mounted on either the top or riser plate, without blocking access to the original battery compartment, allowing for hot-swapping between BPU and brick batteries. The vertical position of the battery plate can be adjusted by loosening the pivoting clamp.
