The HDCU-3100 is a combined CCU / BPU unit with fiber connection and full IP connectivity, which connects to and provides power to compatible cameras via a optical fiber cable, providing signals and interfacing with external devices. When used with the optional HKCU-SFP30 card designed for the SMPTE ST 2110 standard in the "Professional Media Over IP Managed IP Network", the HDCU-3100 camera base station supports key features required for IP Live production needed, including Tally, Intercom and Return. When the optional HKCU-UHD30 4K / HDR processor card is installed, the HDCU-3100 can output 4K signals when an HDC series system camera is connected. In addition, the HKCU-SDI30 optional 12G SDI interface kit allows the transmission of 4K signals over a BNC cable.
