The Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount (Sony FX9) is a Gold-mount battery plate with a slide that is attached to the back of the full-frame camera PXW-FX9 by Sony. The battery plate enables the attachment of a Gold-mount battery, whose voltage is converted into 19.5 V DC and powers the camera via the barrel connector. The battery plate can be moved flexibly due to the slide, which is fixed and released via the lever. This allows continued access to the BP-U battery compartment of the camera. If a BP-U battery is used, the Gold-mount battery on the battery plate can be replaced without interrupting camera operation (hot-swap). The battery plate also has three D-tap outputs to power accessories.
