Hawk-Woods VLM-FX9

Properties:

The VLM-FX9 is a V-mount battery plate, which was specially designed for the full-frame camera PXW-FX9 by Sony. The voltage of the attached battery is converted to 19.5 V and fed to the camera's power input via the attached barrel connector. In doing so, the BP-U battery compartment of the FX9 is occupied. Two additional D-Tap outputs and one USB-A output also allow accessories to be powered. Since the battery plate does not support a battery status indicator in the camera display, an LED warning light has been added which flashes from an output voltage of 11.5 V onward to inform the user that the battery needs to be replaced.
