The IDX SB2/PD is a battery/charger bundle that includes an IDX UC-PD2 dual-channel USB-PD charger and two IDX SD-U98/PD batteries. The charger offers two USB Type-A and two USB-C outputs, allowing for the charging of IDX batteries with USB-PD connections. The automatic voltage switching ensures optimal charging for various devices. The IDX SB-U98/PD battery in BP-U style has a capacity of 96 Wh and features a 70 W D-Tap output as well as a USB-C output with a maximum power of 45 W, which can also be used to charge the battery. Remaining battery capacity is displayed via a four-LED indicator, and when used with Sony cameras such as the PXW-FX9/6, FS7/FS5, and PXW/PMW series, the battery status can also be viewed in the camera's viewfinder. The battery offers protection against short-circuits, overloading, and deep discharge, and has no memory effect. The charger supports an output power of up to 100 W via the USB-C port and offers versatile connections for different devices. Thanks to the fast-charging function, batteries can be efficiently charged.
