The CDMX 234 has an aluminium foil and a tinned copper braid (spiral shielding), each sheathing 2 cores of 7 tinned copper strands. The wire cross-section is 0.34 mm² each. Due to the double shielding, the cable is excellently protected against electrical interference. This relatively thick data cable is particularly resistant to mechanical stress.
