The DWM-02N is a digital wireless handheld transmitter of the DWX series with a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz for exchangeable microphone capsules by Sony and third party manufacturers, such as CU-F31, CU-F31 and CU-C31. It is specially designed for high-density multi-channel operation in large productions. The handheld transmitter has three adjustable codec modes for different applications. MODE1 is for compatibility with DWX series applications, MODE2 for higher sound quality and lower latency and MODE3 for more reliable HD transmission especially for voice. RF output power can be set to 1 mW, 10 mW or 50 mW, significantly extending battery life for productions without interference sources. Cross Remote™ enables remote control of the DWM-02N via the receiver, a smartphone with the Wireless Studio 4.2 app, or via the remote control RMU-01. The handheld transmitter is powered by two separate AA batteries (LR6).
