The Sound Devices SL-2 allows the integration of two slot-in wireless receivers and can be easily mounted on any 8-Series mixer-recorder. It supports UniSlot and SuperSlot™ wireless receivers from various manufacturers, including Audio Ltd, Lectrosonics, Wisycom, and Sennheiser, offering up to four wireless audio channels per slot. The SL-2 and the receivers are powered directly through the mixer-recorder, eliminating the need for an external power source. Audio signals are transmitted to the recorder via the expansion port without additional wiring. The SL-2 features integrated antenna distribution for optimized RF performance and includes two additional MCX antenna connectors for extra receivers. Additionally, it has two TA3 connectors for four AES3 audio inputs and two 4-pin Hirose DC outputs for powering external devices. The robust, compact design fits perfectly with any 8-Series mixer-recorder and includes features like RF scan, transmitter battery monitoring, and RF level monitoring.
