Properties:
The DWR-S03D is a digital wireless 2-channel slot-in radio receiver of the DWX series, which is especially suitable for multi-channel operation with high density in large productions. The receiver belongs to the 3rd generation of the professional DWX series and has four different codec modes for a variety of applications. MODE1 is compatible with the 1st generation DWX series devices, MODE2 prioritizes short latency times while maintaining transmission stability and high audio quality, MODE3 provides additional signal processing and suppresses noise caused by unexpected pulse interference, and MODE4 prioritizes audio quality while maintaining transmission stability and low delay time. It transmits high-quality 24-bit audio within certain frequency bandwidths (depending on the country). The monitoring and control functions of Cross Remote™ allow input attenuation, RF frequency selection, RF output power, cut-off frequency for audio low-pass filters, and sleep mode of the associated Sony DWT-B30 pocket transmitter to be remotely controlled via the receiver. This eliminates unplanned shooting breaks and walking distances. Included in delivery is the interface adapter DWA-SLAS1 with 15-pin D-Sub connector, which can be attached to Sony camcorders. Optionally, the interface adapter DWA-SLAU1 with 25-pin D-Sub connector is also available, which enables it to be attached to devices with UniSlot®. For ENG/EFP applications, the two optional receiver adapters DWA-01D and DWA-F01D are available.
