The Zoom H4 Essential Handy Recorder is a versatile recording device designed specifically for musicians, podcasters, and content creators. Equipped with a 4-track 32-bit float recorder and two A/D converters, it delivers top-notch audio quality without the need to adjust gain. The integrated mixer allows precise fine-tuning of audio levels for each track. With a built-in speaker for quick reference playback and a 3.5mm line output for headphones or connection to a camera, the H4 Essential is optimally equipped. Additional features include a color LCD screen, a 130 dB SPL XY microphone, 2 XLR/TRS combo inputs with locking connectors, and a 3.5mm microphone/line input for lavalier microphones and line-level sources. The recorder supports recordings with up to 96 kHz sampling rate and offers up to 10 hours of battery life with AA batteries or USB-C bus power.
