Tascam DR-70D

Properties:

This compact audio recorder was specially designed for use with DSLR cameras. It provides two built-in microphones and is capable of recording up to 4 channels resp. 2 stereo signals at the same time in WAV or BWF (Broadcast Wave Format) format to SD, SDHC or SDXC memory cards. The combo jacks used for the input signals allows the use of XLR or jack plugs. It is possible to capture a clapboard signal for easy synchronisation of audio and video at a later time.

• Signals can be played out via the line output to the camera to capture them (additionally) there
• Switchable decoding of microphone signals in MS format (mid/side stereophony)
• Clapboard signal can be triggered automatically or manually and enables synchronisation of audio and video or can be used as a marker
• Integrated equaliser for tone control while playback
• Automatic file naming can be set to date or predefined character sequence
• Line and headphone output each provides an independent volume control
• Remote jack is compatible with Tascam RC-10 and RC-3F
• 1/4" threaded bolt on top for mounting the recorder underneath a camera
• Cold shoe on top for attaching the recorder to the cold shoe support of the camera (only accessible, when the camera holder with threaded bolt is not in use)
• 1/4" thread on the bottom e.g. for mounting the recorder on a tripod
• Grips on the front for attaching a carrying strap
