The Sennheiser HMDC 27 is a professional broadcast headset specifically designed for use in noisy environments, making it ideal for commentators and camera operators. It features active noise cancellation (NoiseGard™), reducing ambient noise by up to 15 dB. No batteries are required, as the power supply is provided via the microphone bias voltage from the commentator unit (P12-P48 according to DIN_EN 61938). The lightweight, over-ear design and split headband ensure maximum comfort without pressure on sensitive areas. With its detailed and linear sound reproduction, the dynamic microphone delivers powerful audio, providing top-quality sound transmission even in noisy surroundings. The ActiveGard© limiter protects against sudden peaks over 110 dB. Thanks to the modular design for the boom and cables, the headset offers flexibility. Single-ear listening is possible through the swivel ear cup, and the microphone can be worn on either the right or left side. The package includes a large head cushion that can join the two headbands into one if needed.
