Thanks to its high-quality magnesium-aluminum alloy, it is 40% lighter than conventional aluminum models while maintaining excellent stability and durability for professional film productions. The baseplate ensures that the distance between the center of the lens and the center of the 15mm rods is precisely 85 mm and includes a removable washer to allow flexible height adjustments for different setups. At the bottom, it features an Arri-standard interface and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, enabling easy and quick mounting, as well as compatibility with various quick-release plates. For maximum flexibility, the baseplate is equipped with a Manfrotto quick-release plate on top, allowing rapid attachment and detachment of the camera. This allows users to switch seamlessly between tripod and stabilizer setups, making the baseplate an ideal solution for dynamic film productions.
