The BirdDog X5 Ultra is an advanced NDI|HX3 PTZ camera with 20x optical zoom and impressive 4K60 image quality. Equipped with a 1/2.8'' CMOS sensor, it delivers razor-sharp images with outstanding color accuracy. Thanks to 12G-SDI and dual HDMI outputs, the camera offers versatile connectivity for different setups. An integrated HX decoder enables direct monitoring and the integration of a teleprompter or return feeds. The AI tracking function with precise subject tracking optimizes operation and ensures seamless motion. The Halo-Tally system and dual E-INK displays simplify handling and provide quick access to essential camera settings via QR code. The camera also excels with outstanding connectivity, including NDI|HX3, SRT, and RTMP, for flexible, high-performance transmissions—both locally and over remote networks or CDNs. A USB-C connection allows direct integration with meeting applications such as Zoom or Teams, making the X5 Ultra an excellent choice for remote productions. The BirdDog KBD is a versatile PTZ controller that supports the control of up to 255 cameras. Its ergonomic design and 36 backlit keys ensure intuitive operation. A standout feature is the 4D joystick with "Fine-Tune" mode, which increases sensitivity by 10 times for ultra-precise control. The integrated display offers a multiview mode for up to four cameras simultaneously or a full-screen mode for detailed control. A switchable light/dark mode ensures optimal visibility in various environments. Seamless integration with TriCaster, vMix, and other platforms is supported by the built-in tally system, which visually highlights "Program" and "Preview" signals. The controller features broad protocol support, including NDI, VISCA, ONVIF, PELCO-P, and PELCO-D. For extended connectivity, RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces are included. Power is supplied flexibly via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or a DC-12V connection.
