The BirdDog KBD is a powerful PTZ controller that offers comprehensive control of up to 255 cameras. Thanks to its ergonomic design, high-quality display, and a wide range of control protocols, it is ideal for professional broadcast and live productions. The integrated multiview display allows simultaneous viewing of up to four cameras or detailed monitoring of a single camera feed in full-screen mode. The display can be switched between light and dark modes for optimal visibility in different environments. The 4D joystick provides precise control of pan, tilt, zoom, and focus movements. With the Fine-Tune mode, sensitivity can be increased by up to 10 times, which is particularly beneficial for precise shots. An intuitive operation is ensured by 36 backlit buttons that provide direct access to cameras, focus settings, white balance, and presets. Seamless integration with platforms such as TriCaster and vMix ensures that the current camera signal on the controller display is highlighted with a Tally frame, clearly indicating whether a camera is in preview or program mode. The BirdDog KBD supports a variety of control protocols, including NDI, VISCA-IP, ONVIF, PELCO-P, and PELCO-D, and features serial interfaces RS-232 and RS-422. Power can be supplied via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or a DC-12V connection, providing flexible installation options.
