Properties:

The ORX 1802 is a compact fiber-to-SDI receiver designed to overcome the challenges of transmitting uncompressed broadcast video signals over long distances. When paired with fiber-to-SDI transmitters, such as the yellobrik OTX 1812 or OTX 1842, it provides a cost-effective optical transmission and reception system for signals up to 1080p60 (3Gbit/s) while maintaining full uncompressed video quality. The OTX 1812 offers two SDI outputs and supports LC, ST, or SC single-mode fiber connections. Additionally, an LC version suitable for multimode fiber is available. The ORX 1802 automatically detects any SDI fiber source at 270Mbit/s, 1.5Gbit/s, or 3Gbit/s, reclocks the signal, and converts it to an electrical signal. The module is fully compatible with 3Gbit Level A and Level B formats. Following a significant hardware upgrade, the ORX 1802 now features a USB port. Devices without this USB port should be verified using the provided documentation and datasheets available in the download section.
