The kit includes two modules and two power supplies, requiring only network connections and fiber installation – no complex configurations or setups are needed. The modules support both 1Gbit/s and 10Gbit/s Ethernet networks with a maximum data transfer rate of up to 20Gbit/s in full-duplex operation. If existing network infrastructures use multimode fiber at both locations, connectivity distance may be limited. To bridge these distances, the OBD 1910 MM version allows dual multimode RX and TX connections to be converted into a single bidirectional link over singlemode fiber. The devices feature LED indicators for power and signal status and support hot-swapping and hot-plugging. With easy handling and reliable performance, the OBD 1910 is ideal for efficiently and cost-effectively extending networks over long distances.
