The Lynx yellobrik OBD 1410 is a bidirectional fiber-to-SDI transmitter and receiver that uses a single fiber connection and is delivered in a compact, standalone housing. This system provides a practical and cost-effective solution to overcome the limitations of distributing uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over long distances. The modules are supplied as a pair (Type A and Type B) and operate together in a WDM closed-loop application. Each module features an SDI input and output and uses a single fiber connection between them. Each signal transmission is fully independent and can support various SDI standards and formats. The modules automatically detect SDI signals at 1.5Gbit, 3Gbit, 6Gbit, or 12Gbit and reclock them before conversion. They support both 3Gbit Level A and Level B formats and offer reliable signal transmission over distances of up to 10 km.
